More conceptual, but I loved the design too much not to use it.
When Mario Kart 8 partnered with Mercedes-Benz, it brought a touch of real-world luxury to the rather whimsical world Nintendo's staple character. With Mario Kart 9 on the horizon, Subaru has the perfect opportunity to take this collaboration to the next level.
Subaru’s vehicles, like the Crosstrek, Solterra, and WRX, are built for adventure—perfect for Mario Kart’s wild, unpredictable tracks. Whether it’s snow-covered courses, desert dunes, or jungle paths, Subaru’s AWD systems and safety features can handle Mario Kart’s diverse tracks with ease.
But why choose a Subaru when there’s a stronger "meta"? All Subaru cars will be immune to slippery attacks (like bananas) and off-road slowdowns, highlighting Subaru’s superior All-Wheel Drive capabilities. Of course, there will have to be some balancing on the game dev's side of things.
And of course, a Subaru-inspired cup featuring courses with diverse and challenging terrains—mountain trails, muddy paths, and icy roads.
